My name is Maris Pavlovskis, I have walked this earth since 1983 and after picking up a pencil and drawing paper, I realised that I will be involved in the arts for the rest of my life. After graduating from a building craftsmen school with good grades, I started applying the knowledge of my profession in real life, but after a while I understood that it isn’t something that I really enjoy.

Then, one day in December of 2003, I met an old friend of mine at a party and he started telling me about his trade- tattooing. And then it hit me for the first time. For the first 4 years I wasn't sure if that’s something that I wanted to do, because I also had another job, my tattooing equipment wasn’t professional. In the end, I had a choice to make- either to quit this thing, or to pursue it and become as good as I can possibly be. And then it hit me for the second time. :)

I learned from the best Latvian artists (thanks’ to Girts, Agris, Kurts, Orest and Artjoms), attended drawing classes, purchased the latest state of the art professional equipment, followed the latest trends and techniques in tattooing and therefore my tattooing skills have improved greatly, and I am really thankful and happy for that. :)

And, because I love to travel, I have also found good connections outside Latvia and currently am working as a guest artist in several countries like England (London), Italy, Sweden and such.
